Our team will require 1 day to complete the wrapping and uplift of your household effects from your Wynnum QLD residence
We have regular sailing options to New Zealand with a port to port transit time of approximately 8 – 14 days. Please note that as this quotation is based on a shared container your effects will not leave our depot until enough freight is available to dispatch the container.
On arrival we will require 5 to 7 days to facilitate the necessary clearance and arrange delivery to Wellington New Zealand.

Whilst we exercise all care, on occasion things can go wrong. Whybirds Removals offer you a choice of Marine Insurance to ensure protection of your furniture and personal effects whilst in transit and storage. Please read carefully the enclosed Financial Services Guide (FSG), Product Disclosure Statement (PDS), Policy Wording relating to the insurance on offer.
EASY VALUATION @ 4.00% ($40.00per $1000.00 Cover)
Under the Easy Valuation option your policy is automatically extended to cover the additional benefits of Pairs and Sets, Mechanical, Mechanical Electrical Derangement and Atmospheric or Climatic conditions. In respect of the Mechanical, Mechanical Electrical Derangement extension is only applied to items less than 10 years old and in working order. If items are more than 10 years old they can only be insured for their market value.
FULL COVER – @ 3.50% ($35.00 per $1000.00 Cover)
All risks of loss or damage to the insured goods from any external cause including breakage, scratching, denting, chipping, bruising and the like, theft, pilferage and non–delivery.
RESTRICTED COVER – @ 3.00% ($30.00 per $1000.00 Cover)
Loss or damage to the insured goods directly caused by fire, flood, collision and/or overturning of the carrying vehicle.
STORAGE INSURANCE EXTENSION – @ .250% ($2.50 per $1000 per 28 days)
This cover is required to extend all covers while goods are in storage. Not available without transit insurance.
A deductible excess of A$200.00 will apply to every claim.
Check condition of owner packed cartons as to suitability for shipment.
International export wrapping to all household furniture to export standards.
Completion of a detailed inventory on uplift for which a copy will be provided to you.

Please note for goods quoted for shipment in a ‘groupage, shared containers’ the shipments are sent once sufficient cargo has been received to send a consolidated container. Therefore, the transit times are based on current volume moving at the time of the quotation and can fluctuate due to the volume of cargo available for the port in question.
Collections and deliveries, from and to more than one location (unless otherwise indicated in this quotation), assembly of furniture other than basic re–assemblies, electrical and plumbing work. These services can be provided upon request.
Access to premises at origin or destination beyond what is considered “normal and reasonable”. Any delivery / collection, unless specified, above first floor, elevator use, long carry or shuttle service, special parking permits, split delivery or stair carry above 1st floor delivery if lift is not available and any storage and associated charges or any other taxes. Tradesman, Valet/Maid service, handling of outsize or extra heavy goods (e.g. piano’s, safes, pool table, large marble tops etc) removal of doors or windows to facilitate delivery, use of hoist or crane, return visit to remove debris.
Items exceeding original quotation per the “Household Goods Inventory”.
Customs Duties, Taxes, MPI/Quarantine Charges, and Inspection Fees, and treatments if so ordered, Container and Wharf Demurrage, Fumigation and any storage and related costs at origin or destination if incurred due to circumstances beyond our control, SA Cargo/port dues unless specified, Cab/chassis surcharge if applicable
All work will be conducted in normal business hours Monday to Friday excluding gazetted public holidays unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
All work is undertaken subject to the Conditions of Removals and Storage as attached.

Ensure that you or your representative is present on the pack and uplift and delivery day.
Check your consignment at delivery and list any discrepancies on the Delivery Note/Packing List provided by our partner.
WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU
Engage us to pack and unpack – this minimises the risk of damage.
Consider taking out insurance for your relocation and storage, should storage be required.
Should you wish to book your move in with us we will require you to complete the Acceptance Form together with the Insurance Application Form, should insurance be required.
The relevant customs forms will be sent to you under separate cover on confirmation of your acceptance. We will also ask that you provide legible photocopies of your photo and visa pages of your passport. On all owner packed cartons we require a detailed list of contents written on each carton as well as on paper.
TERMS OF SETLEMEMENT:
Our quotation is based on items as per household Inventory as discussed and / or inspected and is valid for acceptance within 28 days from the above date, provided we are permitted to commence work within 60 days of acceptance.
A deposit of minimum $300 or as nominated by Whybirds Removals is required upon acceptance of this quotation. Payment of our professional services including the Insurance premium, should Insurance be required is due on or prior to uplift via bank cheque, cheque, direct deposit, unless alternative arrangements have been made. Purchase Order or Letter of Acceptance of all charges and conditions. Payment terms in these instances are strictly 14 days from uplift.
